Overview:  John is an experienced consultant with extensive experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors.  He has over twenty five years experience in senior HR and Line Management roles in business.  He has also worked as a lecturer in both further and higher education.  He is an active serving trustee on two registered charities.

John is a passionate believer in the power of coaching and has experienced first-hand the energy that can be released in organisations through strategic coaching initiatives.  He has employed coaching processes to deliver effective HR services at senior levels, and has professionally coached individuals from middle management to board level.

John now regularly applies a coaching and facilitative approach to client change programmes.  His practical experience is re-enforced through an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Other core skills:  John also has in-depth experience in strategic planning, leadership development and change management programmes across a range of settings.  He frequently facilitates strategy reviews for smaller organisations.

John also has a good understanding of emerging public policy on HR matters.  He is both Vice Chairman and the branch Policy Advisor for West London CIPD.
